  • This clamp makes pocket-hole joints as easy to clamp as they are to make. One side of the adjustable locking plier clamp is formed into a pin that mates perfectly into a 3/8" pocket hole, and the other side has a swivel pad that allows the clamp to align perfectly with the mating surface. Comfort grips eliminate pinching when releasing the clamp. Once you try the RAC you will wonder how youve been doing pocket-hole joints without it! Also great for assembling all types of box joints.

  • Comment: I bought this with the Kreg Jr. pocket hole kit, and used it to build a set of shelves for my closet. I gutted my closet and started over with painted particle board, and built a new organization system. The pocket hole kit as well as this clamp are a very nice combination, and really met my needs. In just loose fitting it together, I measured and everything was in-square and ready to be tightened down. I think you could probably use the kit without this clamp, but it sure makes it faster, and you don't have to worry about your work jumping around as you drive the screws. The only recommendation I would make is to put a piece of painter's tape over the part of the jaw that comes in contact with any of your work.

  • Comment: I bought two of these right angle clamps and they work great. I use both clamps to line up my work piece and then start attaching the frames with the screws. By using two I get a straight line.

  • Comment: This is a strong, well made clamp that does just what I expect. The knurled adjustment screw isn't the kindest on the fingers, but it works as it should.

    The clamp with a light film on it. Probably some sort of oil to prevent rusting. I've used this clamp now for a number of different projects and it has been perfect every time.

    If you are planning on doing pocket joinery with the Kreg system, don't wait until you are in the middle of the project before you buy this clamp. Buy it at the same time you get your system. You won't regret it.
